YARDO CASE STUDY

Our Community Leaders Flourish Forum (CLFF)

CLFF is a six-month peer wellbeing pilot designed specifically for grassroots leaders across South Acton and surrounding communities. It brings together volunteers and community organisers to rest, reset and reconnect - gathering monthly at our philanthropy-funded space at x+Why Chiswick Works, where the light, space and greenery are not indulgences. They are conduits of care in themselves.

"Community wellbeing is only sustainable when the people leading it are also supported."

When leaders are supported, communities thrive.

COLLABORATE WITH OUR COMMUNITY

OUR COMMUNITY LEADERS ARE AT THE HEART OF THE FLOURISH FORUM

Meet the people quietly holding communities together - running youth programmes, feeding families, supporting older residents and standing alongside those whose voices are too often overlooked.

YARDO WHERE THE CLINIC MEETS THE STREET

YARDO brings therapeutically informed community wellbeing programmes to the heart of West London. We integrate clinically evidenced therapy and mindfulness with community-led knowledge and delivery — working in neighbourhood spaces rather than clinical settings, because we believe social solidarity is essential for whole-neighbourhood healing.

We were born in South Acton during the 2020 lockdown with a straightforward premise: our neighbourhood deserved access to the kind of high-impact psychological support that is usually only available privately. That practical social solidarity remains at the heart of everything we do. We're glad you're here. Find out more about working with us, or join one of our programmes.

EXPERTISE

Clinically accredited team delivering supervised, evaluated therapeutic practice.

IMPACT

Measurable outcomes in mental health, connection and community resilience.

SAFEGUARDING

Robust safeguarding governance, DBS-checked facilitators and clinical supervision throughout.

NETWORKS

Deep local connections across Acton, Ealing, Hounslow and Hammersmith & Fulham.
