Our mission is to make effective psychological support available to everyone, regardless of income, background or culture. YARDO combines clinical excellence with radical accessibility, meeting people where they are. We work in partnership with local community organisations, schools, GP surgeries and businesses to co-create programmes that genuinely respond to the needs of our neighbourhood.
The Community Leaders Flourish Forum (CLFF) is a six-month peer wellbeing pilot designed to support grassroots leaders across South Acton and surrounding communities.

These are the people quietly holding communities together—running youth programmes, supporting older residents, leading food initiatives and advocating for those who need it most. Yet many are doing this under significant pressure, often without adequate support, pay, or space to prioritise their own wellbeing.
This programme recognises a simple but powerful truth:
Community wellbeing is only sustainable when the people leading it are also supported.
When leaders are supported, communities thrive.

Adeola Russell
Adeola Russell is an Integrative Counsellor and Workshop Facilitator specialising in identity, neurodiversity and social responsibility. She brings experience across central government strategy, higher education lecturing and corporate consultancy in the City of London.
Adeola trained at the Minster Centre in London and currently facilitates race awareness and anxiety workshops, alongside hosting online support groups. Her work focuses on creating reflective spaces that support exploration, connection and personal growth.

Atlyn Forde
Atlyn Forde is an inclusion strategist and social impact entrepreneur, and the CEO of C-Inclusively CIC, an organisation dedicated to embedding inclusion as a practical, measurable part of how organisations operate. Through advisory, training and research, Atlyn supports organisations to build inclusive cultures, strengthen trust, and improve performance, while also delivering programmes that support underrepresented groups to access meaningful opportunities.

Carlene Bender
Carlene Bender is a journalist, events specialist and founder of Contactus Ltd. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, she has been based in Ealing since 2003.
Carlene established Contactus Ltd in 2012, running the annual Ealing Business Expo for eight years until 2023. She now focuses on Events Booster, providing live social media coverage for in-person events, alongside her work as a self-published author.

Christal Douglas is an executive leader with more than 30 years of global experience in clinical operations, specialising in neuroscience and psychiatric disorders. Recognised for building high-performing, cross-cultural teams across 50+ countries, she brings an evidence-driven approach to governance, financial stewardship, and regulatory compliance. Alongside her professional work, Christal contributes to youth justice initiatives and charitable leadership roles within the London Borough of Ealing, applying practical insight to trauma-informed support for vulnerable groups.

An award-winning producer and director, she brings decades of experience across British and global media — including roles at the BBC and Twitter UK — to her work amplifying underrepresented voices and celebrating diaspora heritage through world-class events and digital storytelling. CACE Events is driven by Michelle's belief that community stories deserve to be told with the same professional excellence as any major production, creating spaces for cultural exchange and social cohesion.
