Location: Acton Gardens Community Centre.
Join psychotherapist Samia Nelson for an eight-week, therapeutically-informed support group, designed to support women of all ages and backgrounds. This programme focuses on building confidence, improving communication skills, strengthening community connections, and enhancing positive mental health.
10 fully funded spots, free of charge, with complimentary refreshments.

About Samia Nelson, Psychotherapist
I have extensive experience providing individual and group therapy in various clinical and charitable settings. I work inclusively, welcoming all cultures and identities, and have a deep understanding of trauma, abuse, belonging, culture, and identity. I also specialise in working with neurodiverse individuals and families.
- MSc in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy
- Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA)
- Diploma in Clinical Transactional Analysis
- BA (Hons) Business Studies.
- Member of UKCP, IARTA, and EATA, abiding by their codes of ethics.
Programme Details
The programme will use Transactional Analysis psychoeducational resources tailored to the group’s needs. We will cover themes such as managing emotions, personal power, setting boundaries, self-care, and accessing support. Participants can suggest additional topics when joining. An essential aspect of the programme is fostering lasting friendships and a peer support network to empower yourself and others.
Attendance Certificate: Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
Cost: This programme is generously funded by the Acton Gardens Community Chest and is FREE for women connected to South Acton, London W3. You can claim one of ten free tickets with no obligation. Donations are welcome but not required - if you can contribute financially, simply select the 'I Can Donate!' ticket to pay whatever amount you wish. Many thanks.
