An eight-week Level 1 Teacher Training Course, open to all but particularly aimed at People of Colour. Delivered by trainers from Mindfulness Network & Bangor University, you'll learn to teach the curriculum of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

About the Event
This Teacher Training Course Level One (TTC1) will be delivered online by The Mindfulness Network and Bangor University.
The trainers will introduce you to teaching the practices and curriculum of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), providing the in-depth preparation required to teach including knowledge of relevant underlying psychological processes, associated research and evidence-based practice.

This training is part of a broader project which aims to address the current mainstream mindfulness sector’s unbalanced demographic and is particularly aimed at people from Black, African, Asian or Caribbean heritage (Africans/Asians/Caribbean of any descent and the African/Asian diaspora) and is also open to other People of Colour who are affected by prejudice due to the colour of their skin.
